Ernest Gordon Recruitment is looking for a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician in Lyneham who wants to progress into a Trainer/Instructor role for a major defence contractor. You’ll receive full training to become an instructor and join a large, respected engineering and defence environment.

The role offers a starting salary of £38,000, rising to £41,000 once qualified, with a 37-hour week, a 6+% pension, funded qualifications, progression routes and 25 days of holiday plus company benefits.

Qualifications

• Vehicle Technician or Mechanic by background seeking progression into training.
• Interested in becoming an Instructor and delivering hands-on training.
• Willing to undertake funded training to achieve instructional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using pre-set course materials.
• Prepare lesson plans and assess military students' results.
• Develop training content and improve course development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams.
• Mon-Fri, 37 hour week.
