Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic or Technician who wants to move off the tools into an Instructor role for a major UK defence contractor. Based in Lyneham, you will access funded qualifications and a clear progression path within a multi-billion-pound organisation.

You will deliver hands-on training to military students, follow pre-set lesson plans, assess progress and collaborate with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Mechanic or Technician.
• Willing to progress into Trainer/Instructor role.
• Commutable to Lyneham or based nearby.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training to military students using pre-set course materials.
• Prepare lesson plans and assess trainee results.
• Develop training content and improve course development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams.
• Mon–Fri, 37 hour week.
