Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician Trainer for a major UK defence contractor in Lyneham. You will deliver hands-on training to military students and progress into an instructor role, with funded qualifications and a structured progression path.

The role is Mon-Fri, 37 hours per week, with salary £38,000 rising to £41,000 on qualification, plus a 6% pension, 25 days holiday and company benefits. Commutable from Swindon, Chippenham and nearby Wiltshire towns.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in any automotive discipline.
• Looking to progress into a Trainer / Instructor role.
• Commutable to Lyneham.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using pre-set course materials.
• Prepare lesson plans and assess military students results.
• Develop training content and improve course development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams.
• Mon - Fri, 37 hour week.
