Ernest Gordon Recruitment represents a major defence contractor seeking a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician aiming to move into an Instructor role. Based in Lyneham (commutable from Bath and surrounding areas), you will begin hands-on and progress through a funded programme to become a trainer.

You will deliver practical lessons to military students, prepare lesson plans, develop training content, and work with colleagues to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Vehicle Mechanic/Technician background required.
• Willingness to progress into Trainer/Instructor role.
• Commutable to Lyneham or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using pre-set course materials.
• Prepare lesson plans and assess military students' results.
• Develop training content and improve course development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams.
• Mon–Fri, 37-hour week.
