Job summary

Day’s Rental, part of CEM Day Motor Group, is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Field Engineer to join our Sheffield-based team. You will perform vehicle maintenance from a base workshop and mobile solutions across an expanding regional branch network.

The role requires NVQ 3 in vehicle maintenance or City and Guilds, a clean driving licence (D1 preferred), and the ability to work independently or with a team. UK work eligibility is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in vehicle maintenance or City & Guilds equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Clean driving licence; D1 entitlement preferred.
• Able to work alone or in a team.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle maintenance from a base workshop and mobile solution across an expanding regional branch network.
• Respond to breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults.
• Repair vehicles and equipment.
• Report to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and work as part of a valued team.
