Job summary
Day's Rental is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Field Engineer to service our expanding regional network from Exeter. Based at a repair workshop and on-site visits, you will carry out proactive maintenance and respond to faults to keep the fleet moving.
You will diagnose issues, repair vehicles and equipment, and report to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager as part of a collaborative team committed to high standards and customer service. A full UK driving licence is required.
Qualifications
- Qualified to NVQ 3 standard or the equivalent City and Guilds in vehicle maintenance.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- A clean driving licence, ideally with D1 entitlement.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Providing vehicle maintenance from a base repair workshop and mobile solution across an expanding regional branch network.
- Undertaking scheduled maintenance.
- Responding to breakdowns.
- Diagnosing faults.
- Repairing vehicles and equipment.
- Reporting to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and working as part of a valued team.
