Job summary

Days Rental is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Field Engineer based in Exeter to service a growing fleet from a fixed workshop and via mobile calls across the regional network.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and repair vehicles and equipment under the Vehicle Maintenance Manager. A NVQ3/City & Guilds in vehicle maintenance and a clean UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified to the NVQ 3 standard or the equivalent City and Guilds in vehicle maintenance.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Clean driving licence, ideally with D1 entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Providing vehicle maintenance from a base repair workshop and mobile solution across an expanding regional branch network.
• Undertaking scheduled maintenance.
• Responding to breakdowns.
• Diagnosing faults.
• Repairing vehicles and equipment.
• Reporting to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and working as part of a valued team.
