Job summary

Interaction - York is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our inspection team. You will conduct vehicle inspections, complete PDA-based reports, and communicate findings clearly to customers and colleagues.

Regular travel to BCA sites across your region is expected, with occasional longer trips. Requirements include an NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance (or equivalent), broad mechanical knowledge, and a full UK driving licence. Good communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance (or equivalent).
• Broad mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics and software updates; EV/hybrid knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections following established procedures and report findings via PDA.
• Complete used vehicle condition reports.
• Collaborate with team to maintain daily site inspections.
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Travel to BCA sites regionally; longer trips as needed.
