Job summary

Interaction - York is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to conduct vehicle inspections, complete used vehicle condition reports, and report findings using PDA templates. The role involves daily site inspections and high-quality service across multiple BCA sites.

You'll need an NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance, strong mechanical knowledge, familiarity with diagnostics and software updates, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics and software updates.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally; interact at all levels.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template.
• Complete used vehicle condition reports.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections.
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Travel to various BCA sites within your region; longer trips as needed.
