Job summary

Interaction - York is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Inspector to perform site inspections, complete condition reports, and maintain high standards of service. You will travel across BCA sites within your region and report findings using PDA templates.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance, strong mechanical knowledge, and understanding of diagnostics; a UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous).
• Strong written communication and customer-facing skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template.
• Complete used vehicle condition reports.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections.
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Travel to various BCA sites within your agreed region will be regular, however, travel to further distances will be expected if and when needed.
