Job summary

Interaction - York is seeking a Vehicle Inspector/Technician to join the team. The role involves conducting inspections, reporting findings via PDA, and completing used vehicle condition reports to support high-quality service delivery.

You will travel to BCA sites within the region, with occasional longer trips. NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance is required, along with solid mechanical knowledge and a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template.
• Complete used vehicle condition reports.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections.
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Travel to various BCA sites within your region; longer travel as needed.
