Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is hiring a Vehicle Inspector on behalf of a leading vehicle inspection site. The role focuses on inspecting vehicles to PDA templates, reporting findings, and upholding high service standards across BCA sites.

You will complete condition reports, collaborate with colleagues on daily site inspections, and travel regularly within the region. A valid UK driving licence and NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous).
• Strong written communication and ability to interact at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections following established procedures and report findings via a PDA report template.
• Complete used vehicle condition reports.
• Collaborate with team to maintain daily site inspections.
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Travel to various BCA sites within your region; longer travel may be required if needed.
