Job summary

SIXT Dorchester Depot is seeking a Rental Agent in our Vehicle Hire division. You will be the primary contact for clients and colleagues, building relationships, answering queries, and guiding customers to suitable SIXT products. You will handle bookings, paperwork, vehicle checks and on-site hospitality with a focus on accuracy and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced agent role, preferably within the Hire industry.
• Able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment, independently or in a team.
• Great attention to detail for handover paperwork and vehicle inspections.
• Strong communication skills for clear, friendly customer interactions.
• Willingness to work a shift rotation to cover branch hours.
• Valid driving license with at least 12 months driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bookings are entered accurately on systems and paperwork is issued and retrieved.
• Develop new and existing business through professional email and telephone contact with customers.
• Answer customer calls, provide advice, support and information, and promote company products.
• Complete all paperwork related to vehicle transfers and yard checks.
• Maintain professional face-to-face interaction with clients on site.
• Accurately calculate rental estimates, chase quotes, and follow up.
