Job summary

Tru Talent is seeking a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Estimator in Wakefield to join a busy accident repair centre. You will assess damage, prepare estimates and work with Audatex to ensure accurate repairs.

Ideal candidates will have an apprenticeship or ATA/NVQ/SVQ, experience in a body shop, and a motivation to achieve bonus hours, aiming for top quality service.

Qualifications

• You will ideally have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Vehicle Damage Assessor and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / ATA /IMI/ SVQ)
• You must have previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours
• You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques using Audatex
• Must have previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, must have a ATA qualified and ideally have an up to date Audatex certificate

Responsibilities

• Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
• Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction
• Maximiseprofitability through the use of professional sales techniques.
• Maximise customer awareness of all availableservices.
• Ensure highest level of customer care and satisfaction at all times.
• Maintain excellent standards of departmental administration.
• Helpto achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with supplying partners (Retailer/Dealer/Centre) company policies, manufacturer requirements/agreement and industry guidelines.

Salary:Up to £46,000

Location: Wakefield

Working hours:45 Hours Monday - Friday
