Job summary

Auto Skills UK is seeking a proactive Vehicle Damage Assessor to join its Swindon team. The role offers a basic salary of £35,000–£40,000 with OTE £46,000 and standard hours Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.

You will work in a busy accident repair centre, applying repair techniques to factory specifications. The ideal candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship and a technical qualification (NVQ/VCQ/SVQ/ATA), plus prior VDA experience in a body shop and knowledge of Audatex.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship as Vehicle Damage Assessor with a technical qualification.
• Prior VDA experience in a busy body shop and a strong team player.
• Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques; ATA & Audatex desirable.

• Follow repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specs and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Damage Assessor

• Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction

Skills and Qualifications of a Vehicle Damage Assessor

• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Vehicle Damage Assessor and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
• You must have previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
• You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
• Must have previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, ideally be ATA qualified and have an up to date Audatex certificate.
