Job summary

Certain Advantage is hiring a Vehicle Assembler in the Cheshire area. The role is site-based and temp-to-perm, joining a small, experienced team to produce finished trailers or vehicle bodies to a high standard. You will work with hardwoods, fibreglass, steel and aluminium and read technical drawings.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, quality assembly skills, and comfort using various hand tools. Reading drawings and working in a collaborative setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing experience, ideally in vehicle bodywork or trailer production.
• Ability to use various hand tools to assemble components.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Quality-focused assembly with attention to finish and fit.

Responsibilities

• Specialist bodybuilding and assembly of vehicle bodies or trailers.
• Assist in producing a finished unit to a high standard of quality.
• Handle materials including hardwoods, fibreglass, steel and aluminium from drawings.
