Job summary

Premier Placement Services are recruiting for Body Builders/Skilled Assemblers for a client in the Longton area of Stoke-on-Trent. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers hourly pay rates from £12.85 to £17.13 depending on shift, with days and nights shifts as listed.

Desk duties include interpreting blueprints, assembling and rebuilding mechanical components for HGVs and trailers, using hand and power tools, and conducting quality checks to meet safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience using hand and power tools.
• 1-2 years body building and assembly background.
• Physically capable.
• Reliable.
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
• Hard working.

Responsibilities

• Using hand/power and air tools to assemble components.
• Assembling and rebuilding mechanical components for HGVs and trailers.
• Interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure accurate fitting.
• Quality checking parts and final assemblies for defects or misalignment, meeting safety standards.
• Moving heavy components and materials.
