Job summary

Tru Talent is seeking an experienced Vehicle Bodybuilder/Coachbuilder to join our manufacturing team in Trafford Park, Manchester. You will build and finish high-quality commercial vehicle bodies in a busy workshop environment.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, fitting panels, and wiring terminations. Experience with vehicle bodywork and a practical, safety-conscious mindset are essential.

• Read engineering drawings and works orders.
• Confident using hand and workshop tools.
• Practical, reliable and safety-conscious.
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Build and install commercial vehicle bodies.
• Fit insulated panels to commercial freezer bodies.
• Read engineering drawings and works orders.
• Use hand tools, bench saws and measuring equipment.
• Cut and shape metal, wood and plastic materials.
• Complete electrical termination for lighting, switches and tail lifts.
• Seal floors, roofs and joints using silicone and specialised coatings.
• Complete work safely and to high quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop.
• Work independently to meet deadlines.
