Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a VAT Manager to lead VAT client work from either Edinburgh or Glasgow. You will manage planning and implementation of VAT engagements, ensuring cost-effective service aligned with budgets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in VAT advisory for middle market or corporate clients.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and budgets.
• Strong technical VAT knowledge and ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Business development focus to grow client portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Identify and advise on VAT planning opportunities and perform technical assignments.
• Lead VAT client work, including review and preparation of VAT returns.
• Coordinate with partners and client teams to manage expectations and budgets.
• Develop technical knowledge and contribute to firm initiatives in the region.
• Collaborate across service lines to generate new business in the region.
