Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a VAT Manager to lead VAT client work from Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. You will oversee VAT return reviews, plan VAT engagements and ensure cost-effective service while collaborating with partners and other departments.

The role emphasizes client relationship management, tax advisory excellence, and opportunities to develop through cross-service line collaboration and business development.

Qualifications

• Experience in VAT advisory or compliance for diverse client base.
• Strong client handling and project management skills.
• Proven tax advisory experience with VAT and indirect taxes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control VAT client work including review and preparation of VAT returns.
• Plan and implement VAT work to deliver cost-efficient service.
• Interface with clients and partners to meet service, quality and cost targets.
• Develop technical knowledge through personal development opportunities.
• Collaborate across service lines to generate new business in the region.
