Job summary

Logical Personnel Solutions is seeking a skilled Van Technician / Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop in Central Birmingham. You will service, maintain, diagnose and repair light commercial vehicles, working Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, strong diagnostic skills, and a full UK driving licence. MOT testing may be required for qualified candidates, with ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
Proven experience as Vehicle Technician, Van Technician or Service Technician.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
MOT Tester qualification preferred but not essential.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on vans and light commercial vehicles.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
Performing vehicle inspections and identifying defects.
Completing repairs to manufacturer and company standards.
Carrying out MOT preparation and MOT testing (where qualified).
Ensuring all workshop paperwork is completed accurately.
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
