Job summary

Perfect Placement are recruiting an experienced Van Technician for a franchised dealership in Glasgow. You will service and repair vans in a well-supported, customer-focused environment.

This role offers modern workshop facilities, industry-leading training, and clear career progression within a respected dealer group. A Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification, plus a full UK driving licence, are essential requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician with hands-on experience in vans.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and live data.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a workshop.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair light commercial vehicles to a high standard.
• Use diagnostic equipment and live data to identify faults.
• Complete paperwork accurately (job cards & service docs).
• Support the mobile team with occasional call-outs.
• Maintain vehicle standard compliance and health & safety procedures.

As a Van Technician, you will be an integral part of the dealership's service team, working on a variety of vans in a well-supported, customer-focused environment.

Duties:

• Service and repair light commercial vehicles to a high standard, ensuring quality workmanship
• Use diagnostic equipment and live data to identify and rectify faults efficiently
• Complete paperwork, including job cards and service documentation accurately
• Support the mobile team with occasional call-outs, providing exceptional service to their clients
• Maintain consistent vehicle standard compliance and adhere to health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician
• Electric/hybrid vehicle qualification - highly beneficial
• MOT tester qualification - advantageous but not essential
• Full UK driving licence
• Proven experience working on vans and light commercial vehicles
• Confident with diagnostics, live data, and fault-finding techniques
• Strong organisational skills for paperwork and job completion documentation
