Job summary

Driver Hire Grangemouth in Falkirk, Scotland is seeking an experienced Van Technician to service, diagnose, maintain and repair a range of light commercial vehicles in a busy workshop.

You will work with modern equipment, receive ongoing training and have long-term job security in a friendly team that values quality workmanship and customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Van Technician, LCV Technician or Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, IMI or equivalent qualification (preferred).
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a variety of light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out inspections, health checks and MOT preparation.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and workshop paperwork.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with the workshop team to deliver excellent customer service.

The Role

No two days are the same. You’ll be working on a wide range of light commercial vehicles, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to the highest standards.
