Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Mobile LCV Technician for a leading vehicle rental specialist in Glasgow. You will service, inspect and repair vans and light commercial vehicles at customer sites, with a focus on safety and roadworthiness.

The role offers a 42.5-hour week, overtime, and a competitive package including a company van and tools. A UK driving licence is essential and the right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or Level 2 with 3+ years' experience.
• Experience servicing and diagnosing vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Right to work in UK and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites and depots to service and inspect vans and LCVs.
• Identify and repair mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
• Carry out mobile repairs to high standards and keep vehicles safe.
• Complete records and communicate clearly with customers.

Job description

Mobile LCV Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years' experience, for a leading vehicle rental specialist, working on a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities.

Pay / salary:Up to £36,730 Basic + 1.5k sign on bonus + Overtime at 1.25x (£20.77ph) + Company Van + Tools Provided DOE & Qualifications

Skills and experience

• Relevant light vehicle, LCV or commercial vehicle maintenance qualification, or strong hands‑on experience in a similar role
