Job summary

SAGA Truck & Van is recruiting a Van Sales Business Development Executive to grow Mercedes-Benz Van sales across the UK. You will identify new opportunities, build SME relationships and deliver outstanding customer experiences aligned with the SAGA brand.

With a base salary of £27,000 and an OTE potential of £41,000–£64,000, the role offers the chance to develop a high-earning career in a long-standing premium motor group while working within a dynamic, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of sales within the automotive industry
• Business to Business (B2B) sales
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Sales generation: actively prospect and develop new leads within the UK van market
• Client relationship management: build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients
• Product knowledge: develop a deep understanding of Mercedes-Benz van models and configurations
• Consultative selling: tailor solutions to client needs and financing options
• Negotiation and closing: negotiate terms and close sales efficiently
• Pipeline management: manage sales pipeline and prioritise activities
• Market analysis: monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Documentation and reporting: maintain records and report on performance
• Customer service: provide excellent service before, during and after sales
• Collaboration: work with internal teams to ensure smooth customer experience
