Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Dartford is seeking an experienced LCV Technician to join a busy dealership team. The successful candidate will perform electrical repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance on light commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards.

You will diagnose faults with modern tools, maintain accurate repair reports, and work with colleagues to ensure excellent service and workshop efficiency. Training and progression opportunities are offered within a respected dealer group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an LCV/VAN Technician in a dealership or fleet setting.
• Strong diagnostic skills with modern vehicle systems.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Repair, diagnose, and maintain Light Commercial Vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately diagnose faults using specialised tools.
• Record repair reports and documentation clearly and completely.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency.
• Support and mentor junior technicians when required.

• Competitive basic salary approximately £45,000 per annum, with realistic bonuses bringing OTE up to £60,000.

Duties:

• Conduct electrical repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on Light Commercial Vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose faults accurately using specialised diagnostic tools
• Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Accurately record all relevant repair reports and documentation
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency
• Offer technical support and guidance to junior team members when required
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment to a high standard

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an LCV Technician or Van Technician in a Main Dealership or Fleet environment
• Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with modern vehicle systems
• Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Reliable, goal-oriented, and a strong team player
• Experience working on Vans and Commercial Vehicles is essential
