Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting 6 x LWB Multi drop Van Drivers for a client based near Manchester Airport and in Trafford Park. This role offers an immediate start following vetting and induction, with locally focused routes across the Manchester area.

You will drive a Cat B van with LWB experience, completing 70–100 drops per shift, loading and unloading as required, and ensuring high standards of customer service and vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• 5-year work history with references
• DBS check (essential) and other vetting requirements
• Minimum age 25 years due to insurance
• Full UK driving licence with LWB experience

Responsibilities

• Multidrop deliveries in a local area, 70–100 drops per shift
• Drive a Cat B van (LWB experience required)
• Loading and unloading of the vehicle
• Dealing with customers daily
• Conduct vehicle checks and basic maintenance checks

The Best Connection group is currently recruiting 6 x LWB Multi dropVan Drivers for our client based near Manchester Airport and in Trafford Park. This role will be an immediate start following successful vetting

Rates :

• Monday to Friday - Days £14.25ph (Time 1/2 after 45 hours)
• Overtime paid at £16.90 ( any hours worked between 7pm and 8am Less 30 min Break )

Hours

8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

Role

• Multidrop Deliveries - Min 70 - 100 in a local area
• Driving a Cat B Van (LWB experience needed)
• Loading and unloading of the Van
• Dealing with customers daily
• Vehicle Checks

Requirement

• Cat B Licence with LWB experience
• Experience in Commercial Multi-drop driving (80 plus drops)
• Comfortable with loading and unloading
• Excellent knowledge of Manchester and the surrounding areas
• Must be able to pass a DBS and provide the following: (ESSENTIAL)
• 5-year work history - no gaps (or able to cover gaps with character references)
• 5-year references
• 5 Year address history
• Have access to your 5 year work history on HMRC Gateway
• Must be available (following induction and training) to start with short notice
• Due to Insurance requirements must be a minimum age of 25 years old.
