Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting 6 x LWB Multi drop Van Drivers for our client near Manchester Airport and in Trafford Park. Start immediately after vetting. Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm, local deliveries with a Cat B van (LWB experience required).

Rates show £14.25 per hour days and overtime at £16.90 between 7pm and 8am, with a 30-minute break. DBS required and full 5-year history including HMRC gateway access.

Qualifications

• Cat B Licence with LWB experience
• Experience in Commercial Multi-drop driving (80+ drops)
• Comfortable with loading and unloading
• Excellent knowledge of Manchester and surrounding areas
• DBS check required with 5-year history and references

Responsibilities

• Multidrop Deliveries - 70–100 drops in a local area
• Driving a Cat B Van (LWB experience needed)
• Loading and unloading of the Van
• Dealing with customers daily
• Vehicle Checks
• 8am to 6pm (Mon-Fri)

Job description

The Best Connection group is currently recruiting 6 x LWB Multi drop Van Drivers for our client based near Manchester Airport and in Trafford Park. This role will be an immediate start following successful vetting.

Rates

• Monday to Friday - Days £14.25ph (time 1/2 after 45 hours)
• Overtime paid at £16.90 for any hours worked between 7pm and 8am less 30 min break

Role

• Multidrop Deliveries - Min 70 - 100 in a local area
• Driving a Cat B Van (LWB experience needed)
• Loading and unloading of the Van
• Dealing with customers daily
• Vehicle Checks
• 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

Requirements

• Cat B Licence with LWB experience
• Experience in Commercial Multi-drop driving (80 plus drops)
• Comfortable with loading and unloading
• Excellent knowledge of Manchester and the surrounding areas
• Must be able to pass a DBS and provide the following: (ESSENTIAL)
• 5-year work history - no gaps (or able to cover gaps with character references)
• 5-year references
• 5 Year address history
• Have access to your 5 year work history on HMRC Gateway
• Must be available (following induction and training) to start with short notice
• Due to Insurance requirements must be a minimum age of 25 years old.
