Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting professional Van Drivers to join a busy operation based in WF9. You'll deliver to stores and regional service centres, using scanners and manual handling where required, with start times for days or nights.

We offer clear pay rates, with day shifts at £13.35/hour and night shifts at £16.02/hour, plus overtime up to £24.04/hour. 28 days holiday, pension and personal accident cover, and full induction will be provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Category B (Van) licence required.
• Comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to stores and Regional Service Centres using scanners.
• Handle loading/unloading and manual handling as required.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Van Drivers Wanted - WF9 - Days & Nights Available!

Looking for a reliable driving role with great pay, flexibility, and long-term opportunity? The Best Connection is recruiting professional Van Drivers to join a busy and well-established operation based in WF9.

The Role

You'll be delivering to stores and Regional Service Centres (RSCs), representing a trusted brand while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Nights

• Single-trip nationwide deliveries to RSCs
• Loading/unloading full sacks (manual handling required)
• Using scanners to confirm deliveries
• Start times between 00:00 - 02:00

Days

• 5-10 drops per day to stores within a 150-mile radius
• Collections from suppliers on return to depot
• Manual handling + use of scanners to confirm deliveries
• Start times between 06:00 - 08:00

Pay & Benefits

• Days (06:00-22:00): £13.35 per hour
• Nights (22:00-06:00): £16.02 per hour
• Overtime paid at up to £24.04 per hour
• Holiday pay accrual

Training & Development

• Driving assessment + theory (Highway Code & drivers' hours)
• 2-day paid induction
• 3 days buddying with experienced drivers
• Full 5-day paid training programme

Important Dates

• Assessments: Monday 15th June
• Induction: 22nd - 25th June
• Candidates must be available for all dates
