Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting a Multi Drop Van Driver for our client in Runcorn, Merseyside. The role offers £13.00 per hour, Monday to Friday shifts starting between 05:00 and 08:00, with on-site parking and weekly pay.

Role involves 5–8 store deliveries to healthcare establishments, delivery of pharmaceutical products, and a DBS check prior to first shift. Overtime opportunities and potential permanent placement are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Multi Drop Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Runcorn, Merseyside.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Van Driver, 3.5 Tonne Driver or Courier.

We will require a DBS to be processed prior to your first shift.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 05:00 and 08:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Van Driver, you will work:

• Loading your vehicle each morning before starting deliveries
• Carrying out 5-8 store deliveries to healthcare establishments
• Delivery of pharmaceutical products
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
• Communicating effectively with customers and the transport office
• Ensuring all goods are handled safely and correctly throughout the shift

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:

• Full UK Category B (Car/Van) Driving Licence
• Minimum of twelve months' van delivery experience
• No more than three penalty points (minor offences only)
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude
• Excellent communication and time management skills

Training:

• Driver assessment including theory and on-road evaluation
• Two-day paid induction after passing assessment
• One week of on-the-job training alongside an experienced driver
