Job summary

The Best Connection Ltd are recruiting a van courier on behalf of our client near Lincoln. This is a permanent route on a PAYE basis, with a focus on multi-drop deliveries and safe loading/unloading of parcels.

Applicants must hold a full UK licence with no more than 6 minor points, be over 21, able to provide references for the last 5 years, and be prepared to undergo a DBS check (paid by the company).

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 minor points.
• Be capable of delivering 80–100 parcels daily.
• DBS check required prior to commencing work (paid by us).
• Must be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 80–100 parcels daily on a multi-drop route.
• Load and unload parcels at customer locations.
• Operate as a PAYE van courier on a permanent route.

Job description

The Best Connection Ltd are an Employment Business recruiting on behalf of our client.

Our client is a global leader in logistics and aviation freight transport and have a depot based in Witham St Hughs near Lincoln which covers the local region with their courier services.

We have an opportunity to recruit a van driver to start immediately and continuing on a temporary to permanent basis. The work is as a van courier multi drop delivery driver on a permanent route.

Applicants must be able to meet the following criteria :

• Be capable of delivering 80 to 100 parcels daily.
• Hold a full UK licence with no more than 6 minor points.
• Provide checkable references to cover the last 5 years including work history, references and address history.
• Be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Candidates must be prepared to have a DBS check carried out prior to commencing work as part of the induction process. (We pay for this).
• Candidates must be competent in safely driving both short and long wheel base vans.
• Candidates must be physically fit and be involved in loading and unloading their van.
