Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester is seeking an experienced Category B Van Driver for ongoing food delivery work across South Devon. You will be delivering food products to restaurants on a multi-drop route, starting at 02:00, Tuesday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK Category B driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Available to work Tuesday to Saturday and start at 02:00.
• Own transport to travel to client's site for early start.
• Good knowledge of safe loading and delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Category B delivery van on multi-drop routes.
• Complete multi-drop food deliveries to restaurants.
• Load, transport and deliver products safely.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate and on time.
• Maintain delivery paperwork.
• Follow road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Report delays, delivery issues or vehicle defects promptly.

We are recruiting an experienced Category B Van Driver for ongoing food delivery work across South Devon.

You'll be delivering food products to restaurants on a multi-drop route, working Tuesday to Saturday with a 02:00 start.

Pay and Hours

• £14.57 per hour PAYE Advanced with other PAYE models available
• Tuesday to Saturday
• 02:00 start

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving a Category B delivery van
• Completing multi-drop food deliveries to restaurants
• Loading, transporting and delivering products safely
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Maintaining delivery paperwork where required
• Following road transport legislation and company procedures
• Reporting any delays, delivery issues or vehicle defects promptly

Requirements

To be considered for this Van Driver role, you will need:

• Full UK Category B driving licence

Previous experience delivering food products and knowledge of South Devon routes would be advantageous.
