Job summary

Greencore Group is recruiting for a Van Loader/Van Driver in the UK. Shift times are 6am to 2:30pm with a pay rate of £14.20 per hour, plus £1.15 extra for hours between 10pm and 6am. The role involves loading vans, daily briefs, outbound/HGV checks, and occasional freezer work across a five-from-seven shift pattern.

Weekend work is required. You would join a nationwide distribution operation delivering fresh and frozen produce, with opportunities to progress within a large, diversified food

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Have experience of working in a busy warehouse or transport operation.
• Good attention to detail and demonstrable self-discipline to manage your work tasks with minimum supervision, whilst being held duty accountable.

What you'll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed. You would be expected to work five days per week, which could include mandatory weekends. If you are keen to progress, Greencore can also offer development opportunities to further your career. As a member of the team you will mainly be responsible for the Van Loading Area.

What we're looking for:

Being great with people is essential. In fact, this is the first thing we look for when we recruit a Greencore driver/loader.

• Must have a full UK driving license with no more than 6 points
• Must be able to work weekends
