Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting for a Night Van Driver/Warehouse Operative in Redditch. The role is a full-time night position on a temp-to-perm basis, with a 46-hour week and overtime available. Starting pay is £14.68 per hour, rising to £14.81 after 12 weeks, with overtime at £19.58 after 46 hours.

You will load and organise your van, handle items up to 20kg, use handheld scanners, and support warehouse duties as needed. A valid UK licence and clean record are required.

Qualifications

• Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.

Night Van Driver/Warehouse Operative
Location: Redditch
Pay: £14.68 per hour, rising to £14.81 after 12 weeks

We are recruiting an experienced Van Driver/Warehouse Operative for ongoing night work with an established company based in Redditch.

Working hours

• Monday: 20:00-07:30
• Thursday: 20:00-07:30
• Friday: 18:00-05:30
• Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday off
• 46 contracted hours per week

Pay rates

• £14.68 per hour
• Rising to £14.81 per hour after 12 weeks
• Overtime after 46 hours: £19.58 per hour

The role

• Loading and organising your own delivery van
• Handling items weighing up to 20kg
• Using electronic handheld scanners
• Returning and replenishing stock within the warehouse
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Providing a reliable and professional delivery service

Driver requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Previous experience with handheld scanners
• Be physically fit and able to lift items weighing up to 20kg
• Be willing to assist with warehouse duties
• Be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Have fewer than six points on your licence
• Have no driving endorsements
• Be dependable, punctual and able to work independently
