Job summary

Pertemps Warrington is seeking a Night Van Driver/Warehouse Operative in Redditch for a full-time, temp-to-perm role. You will perform multi-drop deliveries overnight, load and organise your van, and help replenish stock in the warehouse while maintaining safety checks and accurate deliveries.

Pertemps Warrington seeks a Van Driver Nights for a full-time, temp-to-perm position in Redditch, paying £14.68 per hour, rising to £14.81 after 12 weeks. This varied role combines multi-drop deliveries with warehouse duties, including preparing and loading your vehicle and replenishing stock.

Night Van Driver/Warehouse Operative

Location: Redditch.

Pay: £14.68 per hour, rising to £14.81 after 12 weeks. Overtime after 46 hours: £19.58 per hour. Overtime after 12 weeks: £19.76 per hour.

Hours: 46 hours per week. Working pattern: Monday 20:00-07:30, Wednesday 20:00-07:30, Thursday 20:00-07:30, Friday 18:00-05:30. Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday off. Contract: Temp to perm, full-time night work.

The role

• Completing multi-drop deliveries during night shifts
• Loading and organising your own delivery van
• Handling items weighing up to 20kg
• Using electronic handheld scanners
• Returning and replenishing stock within the warehouse
• Checking deliveries for accuracy

Driver requirements

• Have previous multi-drop van-driving experience
• Previous experience with handheld scanners
• Be comfortable working permanent night shifts
• Be physically fit and able to lift items weighing up to 20kg
• Be willing to assist with warehouse duties
• Be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Have fewer than six points on your licence
• Have no driving endorsements
• Be dependable, punctual and able to work independently
