Job summary

Pertemps Worcester is hiring Van Drivers for a busy automotive distribution operation in Redditch. This Temp-to-Perm role offers day shifts (9:30am–5:30pm) or night shifts on a six-night rota, with pay £13.77–£14.81 per hour (after 12 weeks pay increases apply).

You will load, deliver nationwide fragile products, perform daily vehicle checks and assist with warehouse tasks. The job is physically demanding, but full training on products and systems is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes.
• Full UK driving licence with few or no penalty points.
• Previous van-driving and multi-drop experience.
• Physically fit and able to lift loads regularly.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure and transport fragile products.
• Complete nationwide, multi-drop deliveries efficiently and professionally.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure the vehicle remains safe, clean and roadworthy.
• Complete all deliveries accurately and within the required timescales.
• Assist with warehouse duties, loading and stock handling when required.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Work flexibly to support changing operational requirements.

Contract: Temp to Perm

Location: Redditch

Day rate: £13.77 per hour, rising to £14.29 after 12 weeks

Night rate: £14.68 per hour, rising to £14.81 after 12 weeks

Overtime: Time and a half

Pertemps are recruiting Van Drivers to join a busy automotive distribution operation based in Redditch. Both day and night shifts are available.

The role involves loading and deliveringfragile products to customers nationwide. Due to the nature of the loads, this is a physically demanding, hands-on position requiring candidates to be fit, reliable and comfortable with regular lifting.

DAY SHIFTS

• Monday to Friday
• 9:30am-5:30pm
• £13.77 per hour
• Pay increases to £14.29 per hour after 12 weeks

NIGHT SHIFTS

• Four shifts assigned across a six-night rota
• Sunday to Thursday: 8:00pm-7:30am
• Friday: 6:00pm-5:30am
• No Saturday-night working
• £14.68 per hour
• Pay increases to £14.81 per hour after 12 weeks

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
