Job summary

Greencore Group is seeking a dedicated driver at our Exeter Distribution Centre. Shift times are 3–6am, five days a week including Saturdays, with no Sunday work. You will transport fresh stock across our delivery network, with on-site training and potential career progression.

The role offers a base pay of £14.60/hr plus £1.15/hr night uplift for hours between 10pm–6am, with overtime after 42 hours at time and a quarter. A full UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license held for at least six months with a maximum of 6 points.
• Five days per week including Saturdays; no Sunday work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily stock to customers across the region as part of a nationwide team.
• You will be partnered with another team member during the start and receive on-the-job training with development opportunities.

ShiftTimes: 3-6am Start Time

Pay Rate:£14.60 Per Hour (+ £1.15 for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Saturday with a rolling rest day

Overtime:Overtime Premium are payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter

Workload: On average between 20 to 30 drops per day

All routes are planned in with a run time between 8 to 12 hours long.

Exeter:

Our Distribution Centre in Exeter is a major Driving depot, employing more than 50colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 40vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.

What you’ll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed.You would be expected to work five days per week,which would include mandatorySaturdays. With this shift pattern there will be no Sunday work and working day off as well on rotation.On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with.
