Job summary

Greencore operates a major picking depot at Manton 110 in Worksop, delivering sandwiches and chilled foods to major retailers. You will join a nationwide driver team, ensuring fresh stock daily and timely deliveries.

Shifts run Sunday to Friday, with Sundays required and on-site training provided. You will be paired with a teammate at start and have opportunities for career development within Greencore.

Qualifications

Must have a full UK driving licence held for at least six months with a maximum of 6 points and 6 months HGV experience (7.5T and/or upwards).
Ability to work in a fast-paced team and interact well with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

Operate a rolling Sunday to Friday shift pattern with a rest day.
Deliver and stock daily fresh sandwiches and chilled foods to retailers nationwide.
Be part of Greencore's Manton 110 depot with a large fleet and 200+ colleagues.

Shift Times

5pm to 7pm Start Time

Pay Rate

£16.60 Per Hour (£15.10 base + £1.50 Nero premium)

Premiums

+ £1.15 for Sunday work and + £1.15 for hours worked between 10pm and 6am

Shift Pattern

Sunday to Friday with a rolling rest day

Workload

On average between 10 to 15 drops per day

Overtime

Overtime Premium are payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter

All routes are planned in between 8 to 12 hours long.

Manton 110:

Our Manton 110 site is a major picking depot in Worksop, employing more than 200 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.

What you'll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed. You would be expected to work five days per week, which would include mandatory Sundays. With this shift pattern there will be no Saturday work and working day off as well on rotation. On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with.
