Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking Postal Delivery Drivers in Darlington to join a delivery office team. You will deliver letters and parcels, using a handheld device to stay on schedule and maintain customer service.

The role runs 30 hours per week, 9:00–15:00, with a temporary contract that could become permanent. A full UK manual licence is required, and DBS/PVG check is covered by the employer.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Licence held for at least 6 months.
• Dependable, self-driven attitude and ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• DBS/PVG check required (Blue Arrow covers cost).

Blue Arrow is actively seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a successful delivery office team in Darlington DL1. As a Postal Worker, you will be a vital part of the community, delivering letters and parcels, while being the friendly face that people look forward to seeing.

About the role

Our client is the leading provider of mail and parcel services across the UK. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and standards for the customers to ensure that they receive important correspondence and parcels come rain or shine.

You’ll drive round your delivery area, completing some part of the route on foot, ensuring that everything reaches it's destination safely.

Key information

• Pay rate: £13.69 p/h
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Shift times: 9:00- 15:00
• Contract: Temp with potential to go Perm
