Job summary

Blue Arrow are actively seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a Durham delivery office team. You will drive a van, deliver letters and parcels, and use a handheld device to track progress while providing friendly service.

The role requires a full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and reliability. It is a temporary position with potential to become permanent, offering weekly pay and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• A full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• License held for minimum of 6 months.
• Dependable, self-driven attitude.
• Comfort working solo and outdoors in all weather.
• Basic DBS/PVG check (Blue Arrow covers cost).

Blue Arrow are actively seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a successful delivery office team in Durham (DH1). As a Postal Worker, you will be a vital part of the community, delivering letters and parcels, while being the friendly face that people look forward to seeing.

About the role

Our client is the leading provider of mail and parcel services across the UK. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and standards for the customers to ensure that they receive important correspondence and parcels come rain or shine. You'll drive round your delivery area, completing some part of the route on foot, ensuring that everything reaches it's destination safely.

Key information

• Pay rate: £13.69 p/h
• Hours: 2.30pm-7.30pm
• Days: 5 days from 7
• Contract: Temp with potential to go Perm
