Shifts include late and night patterns (4pm–midnight and midnight–8am, Mon–Sun). A valid UK Cat B licence and professionalism are essential for steady temporary employment within a nationwide logistics network.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

• Safely operate 3.5t vehicles on planned routes between mail centres, local businesses and customers. The collections andamp; delivery of mail andamp; parcels efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.

What we’re looking for

• Valid UK Cat B driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 years previous van driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
