Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking reliable van drivers for flexible, ad-hoc work across the SO postcode. You will handle multi-drop deliveries for a range of clients, with early start times and potential weekend work. DBS checks may be required depending on assignments.

We offer weekly pay with PAYE or PAYE Advanced options, training/licence upgrades, and a referral bonus scheme. On-site parking and supportive consultants help you find shifts that fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
• Load-strapping experience is desirable.
• Good level of physical fitness and confidence with manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
• Own transport is essential due to varying client locations.

Responsibilities

• Flexible, ad-hoc shifts on a 0-hour contract.
• Primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work available.
• Typical start times between 6:00am and 8:00am.
• A variety of local and longer-distance delivery routes.
• Some assignments may require a DBS check.

Driver Hire Southampton is looking for reliable and professional van drivers to join our team for flexible, ad-hoc work across the SO postcode.

We work with a wide range of local businesses, including builders' merchants, electrical suppliers, food distributors and other commercial clients. With a variety of assignments available, you’ll enjoy a mix of work including multi-drop deliveries, vehicle movements and local distribution. If you have previous multi-drop experience, we’d love to hear from you.
