Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting reliable Van Drivers in Bristol for a recognised logistics client. This temporary, ongoing role offers flexible shifts and competitive hourly pay.

You will drive 3.5t vans on planned routes, perform daily checks, load/unload, and maintain accurate records while focusing on safe, timely deliveries. Ideal candidates have a UK Cat B licence, up to six points, and at least one year of van driving experience in logistics.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Cat B driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious endorsements.
• 1 year of van driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Knowledge of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 3.5t vehicles on planned routes between mail centres, local businesses and customers.
• Collect and deliver mail & parcels efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
