Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting reliable Van Drivers for a temporary, ongoing role in Glasgow. You will operate 3.5t vans, perform deliveries and collections across mail centres and local businesses, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires a valid UK Cat B licence, up to 6 penalty points, and 1 year van driving experience. Attractive pay, with full PPE provided and ongoing recruitment support.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Cat B driving licence is required.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• At least 1 year van driving experience in a logistics environment.
• Solid understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate 3.5t vehicles on planned routes between mail centres, local businesses and customers.
• The collections & delivery of mail & parcels efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.

Hourly Rate: £13.69 - £16.44 per hour
