Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group in Sittingbourne is seeking an experienced 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to deliver furniture to residential and commercial customers on a Monday to Friday schedule, with 08:30–17:30 hours.

This full-time role offers weekly pay, no weekend shifts, and a supportive team environment. You will drive a 3.5 tonne van, load/unload furniture, perform daily vehicle checks, and provide excellent customer service on every delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a delivery driving role (essential).
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Good geographical knowledge and the ability to follow delivery schedules.
• A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• A good level of physical fitness and confidence with manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

£14.50 per hour | Monday to Friday | 08:30 - 17:30

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to join our client's growing team based in Sittingbourne (ME10 3). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a full‑time, ongoing role with consistent weekday hours and no weekend work.

The Role

As a 3.5 Tonne Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering furniture to both residential and commercial customers, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and with excellent customer service.

Your duties will include:

• Driving a 3.5 tonne van on planned delivery routes.
• Loading and unloading furniture safely.
• Delivering items to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Occasionally unpacking furniture that has already been assembled.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring the van is kept clean and roadworthy.
• Following all road traffic regulations and company procedures.

This is a physically active role. Although the furniture is generally not particularly heavy, many items are large or bulky, so you will need to be comfortable with manual handling throughout the day.
