Job summary

Barker and Stonehouse is seeking a reliable Van Driver based in Gateshead to support local furniture deliveries. The role involves delivering furniture to customers' homes, with occasional travel to Scotland.

Hours are 6:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, and there is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with pay of £13.00 per hour. You will drive a delivery van, assist with heavy lifting, and provide friendly customer service while representing Barker and Stonehouse.

Qualifications

• Previous van driving experience is preferred.
• In date driving license.
• Must be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
• A professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Able to represent Barker and Stonehouse to a high standard.
• Flexibility for occasional longer-distance deliveries would be advantageous.
