Job summary

Whistl Uk Ltd in Manchester is seeking a reliable Van Driver to join Whistl North. You will collect mail and parcels, scan and sort items, and deliver with a focus on friendly, professional service to customers.

You will maintain a clean, safe van, report issues promptly, and thrive in a busy environment. The role is 30 hours per week, with a 12:00 pm start, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Friendly and professional manner when dealing with customers.
• Good knowledge of local area and road networks.
• Able to drive a 3.5t Sprinter-type vehicle.
• Able to load and unload items of up to 30kg.
• Must have no more than three points on driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Collect mail and parcels and ensure timely deliveries.

Job Opportunity

As a Van Driver, you’ll play an important part in ensuring customer collections are completed safely, accurately and on time. You’ll be responsible for collecting mail and parcels, scanning and separating items correctly, and providing a friendly, professional service to our customers.

You’ll keep your vehicle clean, safe and compliant with company requirements, reporting any issues promptly. Working in a busy, fast-paced environment, you’ll need to be reliable, organised and adaptable, with good attention to detail and a positive approach to customer service.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week

Start time: 12:00 pm
