Qualifications

• Valid UK Cat B driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year van driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 3.5t vehicles on planned routes between mail centres, local businesses and customers.
• Collect and deliver mail and parcels efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Communicate with the wider operations team to stay aligned.
• Follow road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
