Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd (Yorkshire) Limited, on behalf of our client in the Tyneside area, is seeking Van Drivers. You will join a team delivering to residential and commercial addresses across the day.

Typical shifts start around 08:00, with 80+ stops per day. You will load/unload packages, provide excellent customer service, and complete paperwork accurately. Temp-to-perm role with PAYE earnings of £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with multi-drop deliveries.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to physically load and unload parcels.
• Willing to work 5–6 shifts per week, including weekends.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver to customers (residential and commercial)
• 80+ stops per day
• Manually load and unload vehicles with packages.
• Follow established delivery routes and schedules.
• Ensure all parcels are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
