Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd, recruiting on behalf of a leading client in Newcastle, is seeking dedicated Van Drivers to join the team. You will deliver to residential and commercial customers, handling 80+ stops per day with starts from 08:00.

This temp-to-perm position offers a clear progression path and pays £12.71 per hour PAYE. Applicants must hold a UK driving licence, have 1 year of multi-drop delivery experience, and be capable of loading and unloading packages.

Qualifications

• 1 year of multi-drop delivery experience
• A valid UK driving licence
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manually load and unload packages

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company van to deliver to customers (residential and commercial)
• Complete 80+ stops per day
• Load and unload vehicles with packages
• Follow delivery routes and schedules
• Ensure parcels are handled with care and delivered timely
• Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely
